“Real Bodies, Real Stories” event showcases body diversity, art, and empowerment to support local domestic violence shelters.
PITTSBURGH, PA – May 5, 2025 —
On July 12, 2025, Pittsburgh will experience a powerful celebration of body diversity, resilience, and community. Real Bodies, Real Stories — hosted by local, woman-owned, photography studio; Pittsburgh Luxury Boudoir — is an open-to-the-public event designed to shatter outdated beauty standards and put real stories, real strength, and real bodies at the forefront.
The event, starting at 7 p.m., will blend a dynamic runway show and art gallery experience featuring everyday men and women from the Pittsburgh area. Each participant has been photographed showcasing their unretouched bodies, and will walk the runway while their affirmations — and the real-world comments they’ve overcome — are projected behind them, creating an emotional and inspiring visual story.
Beyond the runway, attendees can explore a curated art gallery of photographs of the participants celebrating body diversity, visit local vendor booths, and participate in a silent auction with proceeds benefiting Pittsburgh-area domestic violence shelters.
The event will be held in Pittsburgh’s vibrant, up-and-coming Allentown neighborhood, generously sponsored by RE360, a leader in revitalizing local communities. Thanks to RE360’s support, Real Bodies, Real Stories is able to offer this experience free to the public, ensuring accessibility for all.
